Forty years ago Hawthorn Park was the scene of a brutal murder which has remained unsolved to this day. A friendly local character, retired sea captain William Sturmey was found bashed to death in circumstances which remain mysterious four decades later.

The first unsolved crime in 2010's season of Classic Crime with Jack Sim & presenter Walter Williams.
